Prior Marketing were in the process of launching their new business venture - a feel good marketing agency with collaboration at its heart. They were looking to partner with a designer who could bring their branding vision to life and felt that as a fellow female solopreneur we were a good match.
Our first step was to have a discovery call where we discussed brand values, purpose and plans for the future, we also looked at customer profiles and did an in depth competitor analysis.
From this we were able to identify the tone the brand style should take and the important messages it should convey - playful, curious and reliable. I then pulled together mood boards with reference images to make sure my initial styling thoughts were aligned with the clients expectations. Based on the feedback my next step was to start generating ideas for the identity and an initial brand style for assets.
The chosen design route is a word marque which utilises rounded friendly letterforms and is customised to symbolise connection and community whilst the bold colour palette sets a playful and curious tone.
A bespoke pattern using details from the identity was also created to be used across the launch materials which included social media assets, a template for presentations slides and business cards.
Once all aspects of the identity were agreed I put the information together in a set of guidelines to ensure consistency when creating their website and any future graphics.
